The Chazak Academy is a hands-on, immersive entrepreneurship program that teaches adolescents (7th and 8th graders) how to start and operate their own business.
It’s specifically designed to instill the following traits:
Confidence
Empowering students to start and run their own businesses, building confidence in their abilities.
Effective Communication
Emphasizing clear and persuasive verbal and written skills for pitching ideas and negotiating.
Embracing Failure
Showing young individuals that each setback is an opportunity for growth and improvement.

Introducing concepts such as budgeting, profit margins, and investment, enabling students to make informed financial decisions in the future.

Encouraging students to understand and meet the needs of others through innovative and socially conscious business ideas.

The Chazak Academy Curriculum Overview

The first half of the year will be dedicated to educating students on entrepreneurship and running a business. Lesson topics cover all the basics of accounting, marketing, sales, brainstorming, goal-setting, case studies, and more.

Now that the students have learned what it takes to start their own business, it’s time to put their newfound skills to the test. During the second semester, students will finalize their new business idea and begin execution. Their goal is to successfully start and operate a profitable business by the end of the semester. We’ll conclude the year with a presentation, developing go-forward goals for their business, and an end of year party!

Throughout the program, students will have direct access to their instructors who will provide guidance, mentorship, and advice as they navigate their new business idea.
The Chazak Academy will also provide students with many of the basic software, resources, and tools they’ll need to start their businesses.
